In this project we were encouraged to take a text from the public domain and create a book on Indesign. We also had to create a cover and illustrations to go along with the book. I chose the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
For the cover, I wanted to utilize the creation of Frankenstein's monster. I took a more simplistic approach and made beakers and test tubes with different body parts and organs inside of them.
Here you can see the application of a few illustrations and a Chapter header. In the chapter headers I decided to use the test tubes from the cover and repurpose them as roman numerals. This was a practical way to keep the book consistent and include imagery often.
